Author, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone turns 20 today. The outstandingly successful author went on to write several other books chronicling the adventures of the boy wizard and Rebecca Reid writes this beautiful piece in the Metro.co.uk about how the series of books which she first encountered at the age of 6 have affected her and continue to provide a place of peace as she lives her adult life. Torture: Bad Dad Chains His 13 Year Old Son After Accusing Him of Stealing His N2,000

A 13 year-old who was chained by his father for stealing his N2,000.00 has been rescued by Policemen attached to the Shagamu Police Division of the Ogun State Command, yesterday.

Neighbours at 9, Dokun Street, Ewuga, Shagamu told Vanguard that the teenager was found naked on the bare floor with his hands and legs bound. They also said he had blood stains on his body.
